Was told I needed cataract surgery by Dr. Kovach. He said if you my brother I'd tell you to do it. I trusted him and did it. I see much worse now and need glasses to see. Makes no sense. A botched job indeed. Said I was 1 in 1000 that it didn't work for. Soon after that was told by a different Dr. that the vitreous fluid had leaked out. Had been there the whole time and he never told me. My Mother in law was a patient also with a lot of eye issues. He did unnecessary laser surgery on my eyes for what he said was glaucoma, then tried to rush me into making an appointment for cataract surgery. When I went for a second opinion, was told that I did not have cataracts, and also had not needed laser treatment for glaucoma.

Warning: This guy had to pay out $1 M in damages for injuring a patient in Malpractice case in Cook County in 2011, still allowed to practice and is opening another office. A jury found him guilty. Look it up online. Dont trust him with your eyes or the lint in your pocket.
