I am so grateful for the Staff, and Dr Kovach at the Kovach Eye Institute. Thank you so very much Dr Kovach, and the whole team of hard working and caring professionals. hello everybody never ever again, reason: Dr Kovach pushed to unnecessary precisions, when I found another doctor, record department never called me back and never sent me MY medical record, but billing department billed me not once, not twice, but three times. So, do not spend you time and money, in this area are many good eye doctors. Good luck.

Somewhat belatedly. I a evmiewing my earlier appointment held last October, 2020 at the now closed out downtown office.As usual,the examing opthamologist Dr.Kovach was courteous and thoroughly professional.. Earlier he had performed two separate eye surgeries for cataract removals at a Downers Grove outpatient hospital facility..I appreciated then the professional and courtersy displayed ina most stressful scenario for me. I have seen two different doctors at the Elmhurst location. The first one told me he could fix my problem in about 5 minutes. He didn't fix it. I'm convinced he didn't do anything at all because the problem never changed or got better in any way. The second doctor did nothing but make excuses and strongly implied it was my fault that the problem didn't improve. Stay away from Kovach. Totally ruined my eyes!!
RUN do not walk from this practice. I waited 6 months to post this review, until my eyelids were completely healed. I'm left with nerve damage in the eyelids, one eye doesn't close completely, and the lumps left in the eyelid are hideous. This doctor is only interested in making money. No time for questions or concerns, just chop chop, the next patient is on the table. He had plenty of time to try and sell me cataract surgery that I didn't need.
