I find Dr Korunda to be a thorough and good internist - when you can get her. She has had a couple of great NPs in past that I trusted and was happy to see them in between my annual visits with doctor. She now has an inexperienced PA who has made a couple of gaffes, is not responsive, doesn’t return calls. When messages are left for the doctor, you may or may not hear from a medical assistant and you have no idea if the doctor ever saw the message. With only 10 days to go to leave the country I needed a cortisone injection because of an inflammation in my hip, bursitis. I was informed that I needed to make an appointment with the pain management department, the next appointment available was two weeks out. You can't wait when you need it now. Takes time with patient, caring, very thorough, listens and addresses concerns and you don’t feel rushed, and leaves you confident and trusting that your health care is in great hands. So happy that she was recommended to me as my Internist.
After moving from NY to Naples, I was very worried trying to find a good doctor for my mom who is elderly. After visiting a few, finally, someone recommended Dr. Brian T. Cannon. Thank god! he is such a wonderful doctor who cares and listens! I finally made my decision on making him my primary doctor!!
Dr. Cannon is one of the best physicians I have ever encountered, and I have lived in 6 states. He is extremely kind and treats you as if you are his only patient of the day.. He listens carefully and his judgments are knowledgeable and prudent. He is always ready to help in any way, especially regarding getting prescriptions through the maze of the insurance kingdoms. I recommend Dr. Cannon to anyone seeking both the art and science of the practice of medicine.
