Kind people Always friendly
I recently brought my blue nose pup into KAH and he ended up having to have surgery. Everyone of the staff members are kind and willing to answer any questions you have without hesitation. I have had problems with multiple veterinarian clinics before with their lack of compassion and just pure greed for your money. KAH members actually care about your animals as if they were their own and will work with you on the bill to make it as easy on you, as possible. we travel for work and our 10 year old manx kitty got sick. they where amazing with him. the vet was so wonderful.
Dr. Rogers and his team are THE BEST!!! Even during this pandemic they got creative and came up with a safe way to still care for our animals! Humans stay in their vehicles and communicate via phone for check-in and payment. Dr. Rogers and team come to your vehicle to get your pet and discuss visit all while maintaining 6' distancing! Absolutely love this place!!!
I recently boarded my chichihua there while on a trip to Canada. Unfortunately my dog Blake wouldn't eat and a technician named Vickie went out of her way to but him expensive dog food and even chicken breast! She carried him around with her to comfort him too. To me this meant the world. He lost a pound but he is doing great now and I cant thank Vickie enough. Kootenai animal hospital will always be my go to place for my animals!
Last year, Dr. Hattie Williams saved Joey’s life (after he had Rimadyl poisoning); this year she surgical removed 2 very large fatty tumors. Joey developed an infection and she managed him through this along with Nicole and all of the techs at this wonderful place of healing! I can never repay the kindness and care Joey receives from these wonderful loving professionals!
We took our girl to KAH for many years for excellent care. When her days came to an end, they helped us through the process with great kindness and empathy. They even made a card with Tasha's paw print and a brief quote. it was amazing and gave such comfort. A sad moment in our lives was made less painful by these kind people.
Worst vet experience ever. Would never suggest anyone ever take their animals there.
