Dr. Segkos is AMAZING! If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!! Another doctor diagnosed me with thyroid problem 5 years ago, put me on hormones medication, which caused all kind of problems for me. After seeing several other doctors without improvement, I finally went to dr. Segkos and he determined that I never had thyroid problem. He took me off the thyroid medication and I feel fantastic. He listens to you, he is concerned, he is what a doctor should be. Totally recommend dr. Sekos!!
Quite possibly the worst physician I've ever seen. Refuses to listen to patient's feelings or symptoms, suggests zero lifestyle or dietary changes to improve Hashimoto's, no bedside manner whatsoever. Believes numbers are the only factor to consider. He needs a serious training on LISTENING to his patients and being willing to help them!
My sister Mandi and I flew from the Midwest and NYC to get treated at this Utah facility. My sister had a Thyroid procedure and from start to finish we received exceptional care. Will be challenging to find this level of service anywhere else. Thank you to the entire team!
He did not listen to my concerns, just went through a list of common symptoms and checked all the boxes. Very robotic. Horribly mistreated me with an extremely wrong dose of medication that caused severe depression, and I am a single mom so this also negatively affected my kids with no way of escape to another parent. The staff was also very unempathetic and left me hanging over several days that turned to weeks as they did not get back to me when I was having problems sleeping because of the wrong dose.
