open seating in the bar is not really open seating. I've always loved Kona Grill. Left because the hostess was rude to Doug.
Really disappointed in my experience there last night. We couldnt participate in happy hour because we were seated in a booth, it took 30 minutes for us to get a sushi roll (which was basically just avocado rolled in rice), waited another 15 minutes for our food. I saw my dinner sitting under the warmer for at least 15 minutes, and my husband chicken had a terrible texture.

One of, if not THE BEST sushi in the Valley! Fresh ingredients in all of their dishes & crafted cocktails!
Don't get the new menu item -ribs. Tough , overcooked and not filling for the price. Had to send them back 👎

I'm glad they allow you to sit anywhere now for Happy Hour. Smart move management! great food.
Always enjoy dining here, however not very organized on holidays.
