I had my upstairs air conditioner go out just as the outside temperature hit 95* in the shade ( timing is everything right ). I waited over the weekend to avoid the overtime charges. On Monday I called and set up a service for 2:00 to 4:00 pm with Donelson Air Service and they were prompt in arriving. The technician was polite and friendly. He went about looking for the problem. I wanted to share our experience with Orangutan Home Services. We purchased our system with them with a warranty yet most times they would come we ended up paying for this or that. But what really upsets me is that this last time we called them because our air was blowing hot they came by and inspected and stated that the AC had a leak, was frozen up, and had leaked out all the refrigerant. The technician, Ruben, did a superb job and took the time to educate me on how I could save on my energy costs. I give him 5 STARS. However, I did have an issue with the scheduling folk. Since the access to the unit in the attic was small, I had specifically told the schedule that only a slightly built person could perform the required services. If you want a company that takes care of their customers, ********** is the one. My air went out at 10:30 PM. Called their office and reported problem and at 11:00 I had the nicest, most professional, courteous and knowledgeable technician at my home working on problem. He found the problem and had the air back to cooling in about 15 minutes. Couldn't imagine what good service in the middle of the night. Have used ********** for many years and will continue.
Service Expert, Cory, completed our service agreement home visit this past week pertaining to our high efficiency furnace, central air conditioner & hot water on demand heater.
