Venue is quite pretty but the sound in the lawn leaves much to be desired. Spend some money and beef up the speakers! Been this way far too long.
I love this venue!! Always have a great variety of acts. Usually catch at least one show a year here if not more. Great vending choices and friendly staff.
We went to see Paul Simon, who was great, though the show was a little short. Supposed to start at 8 pm and finally got under way at close to 8:30. At 9:38 Paul left the stage but did come back for 2 extended encores. My major beef, however, was not with the show but with the traffic and parking. We left our dinner at Mez at 6:30 and hit a solid stopped line of traffic on US 1 that extended for miles. This was all traffic heading to the venue via the exit toward Regency PKWY. Total disorganization. Slammed with people every inch. Only redeeming quality was the weather was perfect. Too bad bc Paul Simon was great but could not enjoy bc of the people falling all over one another trying to stand and walk.
A most wonderful experience...one I will never forget. I cannot say anything but good about everything there, the seating, the sound, the security, the flow of traffic, the complete organization of the event..The show was spectacular.
