Kooka Booth is one of my fav outdoor concert venues. I love the acoustics and sitting under the stars. However, last night the Box Office staff left A LOT to be desired. Indigent is about the best word I can come up with. Come on people... we are all there to enjoy a great show under the stars.
Went there yesterday for John Mellancamp. Very impressed by the venue. Will go again in the future and would highly recommend.
I really enjoyed the concert. Everyone I came in contact with was great. The bathroom attendants were very helpful and polite. I only had a few complaints. The parking for this venue is terrible. I had lawn seats and did not like how it was handled. I was first in line until they made two lines. Due to this I did not get a front row seat. However it was a good night.
update: just got off with the food manager and they have agreed to adjust the salad to include chicken (with an altered seasoning) . Thank you for the quick response! Make sure you eat BEFORE any concert at Koka booth. You cannot bring in anything with you and, given we had to get there at 5 to get out tickets from the ticket counter, it would have been difficult to eat ahead anyway .
