Been eating at Kobe for nearly 30 years, so it breaks my heart to give them only three stars, but the quality is not what it once was. The teriyaki sauce is different, not as good as it's always been; either a new recipe or inferior ingredients. My ribeye was very small, and I could only find two bits of garlic. I suspect a management change, everything felt a grade below what it used to be.
We Love this place. We have been going there for over 25 years! Gia is our favorite waitress!
That's a generous 3. Maybe it was an off night for them but, we eat Japanese Hibachi often. I expected Kobe to be on par with Jinbeh (our favorite) or Benihana. I knew it was bad when we ordered 2 ribeyes and the chef put a ribeye and a sirloin on the grill then argued that they were the same steaks. Not impressed.
