I waited half a year for my appointment. I’ve been dealing with chronic pain for a while and had been told and given a referral. Honestly it was disappointing. I showed up early (15 minutes). The woman who works up front wasn’t very polite, which I let go because I wasn’t there to deal with her, I was there to see the doctor. I waited for my appointment for over 45 minutes. I highly recommend Knoxville Rheumatology and Dr. Mishal Abdullah. Every experience I’ve had with this office has been positive. Dr. Abdullah and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, professional, and caring. The office runs very efficiently, but I never feel rushed during my appointments. Dr. Abdullah takes the time to listen, explain, and recommend coordinated care involving the rest of my healthcare team. Dr. Abdulla is hands down the worst doctor I have ever seen. He walked into the room, told me he needed to check all possible diseases to rule out any because "there are many diseases that mimic RA". This after I filled out all of the many pages of his paperwork and provided him with medical records and blood test results from previous Rheumatologists. I was diagnosed 15 years ago by a prominent Rheumatologist in Denver CO who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Harvard Medical School. Since then I've moved four times and each ti... read more
