I was favorably impressed with The Knoxville Convention Center. It is spacious and accommodated more than one event on the day I was there. The events were well staffed and the staff was courteous and friendly. Parking was readily accessible. I intend to return for future events.
It is a great place. I have been there two times to watch grand daughter complete in cheer leaders.

Love this venue for CheerSport cheerleader competition! A plus, hotels are walking distance. Nice college campus.
It was a awesome experience at the convention center in Knoxville. We were there for a Cheer Competition. After standing in the nearest line for a few minutes, they came and told all the cheer people that they were standing in the wrong line. They had a chocolate fest at they time. So they directed us downstairs for tickets then down one more level for Cheersport Competition. There was security at the entrance and armbands were required. I went to the chocolate fest. And I have to say who ever was the Event Coordinator didn't have a clue. It was completely disorganized and not crowd friendly. Being in the business many years, I'm surprised the convention center didn't help with the set up of this event. I pre-order our tickets and stood inline for 2.5hrs. Walk-ins went to sale window and walk right in. That is bull grap. Plus had to pay a fee to order them. NEVER AGAIN! 3 different events is to much and way to many people.
