Were Very Pleased – We were very pleased with the work done at High Country Animal Clinic. Our dog had been uncomfortable to the point of not wanting to walk much for several months. He had been treated somewhere else with antibiotics for a urinary infection but only got better for a short time. Dr. Knowles found a huge stone in his bladder, and after surgery to remove it, he was like a different dog in a few days. We actually have the stone now to show to our amazed friends! Our experience - my husband and I - have always had positive experiences there. It is a place where I know Dr. Knowles will do WHATEVER it takes to save an animal - if the animals' owners okay an expense, Dr. Knowles will explore all options available to a family to treat an ailing animal. Back in 2006, our dog Max had a bad reaction to flea medicine that also started a domino effect to have failing health. Very knowledgable – My dogs have seen Dr Knowles several times once for an acute reaction to a hornet sting and I found him to be an excellent vet. He does feel that pet obesity is a problem, which of course it is. He was excellent with our new Husky puppy. I would recommend over many of the other vets in the area.
Worth it to drive elsewhere – Please consider taking the time to visit other vets before settling for this one. I felt he was very incompetent and very disrespectful towards me and my pet. I don't feel like he is very knowledgeable about animals and vet medicine, yet I got the impression that he thinks pretty highly of himself and has a "my way or the highway" mentality. Horrible experiences. – Awful vet! Been my family vet for a lack of choice for awhile. Screws up everything from spaying to diagnostics. Is also an awful nag. Saw a cat with a chronic disease a total of five times and never caught it until it was irrevesrsable. The cure for everything is euthanasia for him. STAY AWAY from Bradley Knowles.
