RecommendedYour delivery guys Drew and Riley deserve a raise! They had to deliver a king-size mattress and frame and take away our old one. Our staircase is narrow, not straight, and has a part with a low ceiling. They worked their butts off trying to maneuver the new mattress up our stairs and never once complained. At one point, we all thought that it wouldn’t fit, but they muscled through and got it where it needed to be.

I drove to Knei Appliance & TV in Sterling IL this a.m. from Shannon IL to have my Maytag micro hood serviced this a.m. It was purchased at Hartman T.V. & Appliance & Furniture in Freeport IL where I worked for 36 years as a salesman. When I got there I was turned away because they only work on what they sell. I then asked for the manager and got the sales manager who would not allow me to leave it. Guess what! Good luck getting your appliances! We ordered a range and refrigerator in July we were told both were in stock and we would have no trouble getting them. During the order process, the salesperson informed us that actually only the refrigerator was in stock but the wait time on the range was only a few weeks unless we wanted to pay more for a different model. Every store is different, especially on the scale of local business to big box. As a local business in comparison to big box, the pandemic has genuinely affected the time frames we are receiving product. Krista was my salesperson when I bought a refrigerator. I was torn between a Whirlpool and GE and was able to answer all my questions. She went the extra mile to check on availability and possible delivery dates. I would definitely go back to Knie’s for appliances and furniture and would ask for Krista.
We would definitely recommend Knie! Dean was an outstanding Sales person.
