I am so loving my new rechargeable bike lights (Thank you for that recommendation), and my newly tuned up bike ready for a journey. Fast turn around, super friendly, and knowledgeable to boot. Wahoo!
Rode two events in the last two weeks on bikes purchased from and maintained by the guys at Klunks. Rebecca's Private Idaho, 56 miles of mountain gravel roads on my Surly Long Haul Trucker and the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival, 40 miles off road on my Surly Ogre. Both events are very hard on bikes and I had zero bike issues!
Thanks Josh for the top notch tune up last week. Shifting instantly and smoothly now. You even wiped her down from the last time I had to ride in the rain! Rides like brand new. Love Klunk people! Clayton Black Hudson Sport Coe
Got great service and recommendation for a new bike! They were able to tell me exactly which bike best suited my needs and budget.
This is the friendly LBS you're looking for. They stock great products at great prices, and they don't sneer when you bring in a 20-year-old bike for repairs. The staff helped me decide on a rebuild plan for my beloved old GT, and they busted their tails to get it done before the long holiday weekend. I now have a bike that's functionally better than new, for a quarter of what a new bike would cost. Special thanks to Josh for remembering that I like my brake levers reversed--little touches like that make all the difference.
