Kayla was amazing with our 3 year old. He absolutely hated the trimmers because of the buzzing whenever we would cut hair at home, but Kayla walked around with him while he played and trimmed his hair perfectly. We will definitely be back many more times to come!
Both my boys actually look forward to getting haircuts now thanks to Kayla! The salon is a nice big space with toys and TVs so they both have plenty to do while they wait their turns. Kayla is also great with kids and asks them how they want their hair done (so they get to feel grown up too). We've been coming here for about two years now and are happy to keep coming back. Their haircuts always look perfect and she even offers free touch-ups within the next day or so. Can't say enough good things about this place.
I cannot rave enough about Kayla, she makes my child with autism extremely comfortable and meets her where she is. She will let the child lead, she is 1000% the best for children with autism. I also have experience getting a mom haircut with her and she is by far my favorite stylist. She goes above and beyond, making you feel your best and making sure you love your hair! Prices are very affordable as well!
We took our son to get his first hair cut today and we had a wonderful experience! He is 2 years old and isn’t a fan of the dentist so we didn’t have high expectations. Our hairstylist Katie did a great job making him feel comfortable! There were a few tears shed in the beginning but once we got started he was content being worked on. We walked out with a great experience and great haircut. We will definitely be back and booking with Katie.
We started out at cookie cutters with Katie. She has cut my son’s hair since his first appointment on his 1st birthday and is very kind and patient with him. ( he’s not a big fan of haircuts ) even with him wiggling and trying to crawl or climb out of the chairs and him crying she is amazing at working with him and not just getting the haircut over with. We learned that Katie had moved followed her over to KK’s and our son still not a fan of the whole haircut thing did so much better in this salon environment.
