In response to Miss MINDY H. I am the owner of Kitty Cat Condos and I am sorry to hear Mindy H. was unhappy, We have NEVER in 11 YEARs of operating used WHITE POWDER (flea or any other kind) in our facility. We always use and recommend every cat to have ADVANTAGE on before coming to our facility for their protection. It is the owners responsibility very much like a child going to daycare or school must be immunized. It would be rediculous for a parent to not get a shot for lets say measles and then send him or her to school ... read more
Tammen and Casper are regular boarders at Kitty Condo I am very particular about my cats. My 2 mutt VIPs are regulars at Kittty Condo. They are boarded together in a studio which come with their own cubies, water and food bowls. Lisa and Steve, owners and operators, know our cats. My vacation starts the minute I check the cats in. We always felt welcomed with the room ready with the waiting cubies and bowls. I am sorry to hear about Mindy's cat, in another review about this place. Not good enough for my baby! I took my cat (not quite 1 year old at the time) here when I went out of town for a week's vacation. The cat was in perfect health when I brought him in and he had NO fleas. The facility is less than satisfactory. I felt that it could have been cleaner and I was not convinced that the cats were receiving much human interaction. Halfway through my vacation, the owner calls me to tell me that my cat has fleas and a cough. Since my cat was healthy and flea-free when I brought him in, I can only assu... read more
Very good for my poopsie! Although I hate having to leave my precious boy Bud behind while I jet off on vacation, I feel super comfortable leaving Bud with Lisa and Steve at Kitty Condos. They know Bud's quirks and needs, and when I call in to make a reservation they know what available room(s) will work best for him. They don't even mind when I call in to check in on him, and yes, I admit, talk to him. When I'm on vacation, I don't worry about him because I know he's safe and looked after. That's the best feeling!
No better place in Portland for CATS I have been using them for years and have nothing bad to say about the place and the owners. I was referred by my vet and by my neighbors we all have used Kitty Condos for boarding our cats and have been unlucky enough to occationally call too late and be stuck shopping around for other options and believe me there is no other options in or around Portland. Prices are lower than most for the rooms size and the owners are the same people who care for the cats so they always remember my cat... read more
