Staff did a great compassionate job the volunteer at the center was awesome
The Kitty Askins Hospice Center is an amazing place. My step father and family were treated so well. The staff were very compassionate, kind, loving, and understanding. We couldn't have asked for a better staff. They were truly amazing and a heaven sent. Although, he was only there for two and a half days, they became like family to us.
The staff are so thoughtful when it comes to the patient & their families!!
I can say nothing but great things for Kitty Askins Hospice Center. My mother was there for 3 days and she received the most compassionate care from every staff member. They were so good to her and to us her family. I could not have asked for any more than they gave. I loved the fact that several staff members took it upon them selves to pray for my mom and for us as well. We were in prayer over my mom and the nurse came in and gladly joined hands with us to pray. This place is truly a god send to families and their patients... read more
I live in Mississippi. My Aunt was in Kitty Askins for a few days before her death. I would like to compliment the staff for the comfort that our entire family received during the difficult time. The facilities are beautiful and uplifting. We had free access night and day and the staff was welcoming. I loved that local churches provide lunch or dinner several days of the week. Last year this time you were caring so lovingly for my mother...and for me. Mom passed away at 2 :00 AM on Christmas Day. I remember the weeks leading up to that, as so filled with love and comfort and friendship from you. As I think of that time, I think of the song, ." There's a sweet sweet spirit in this place". I still think of you and the Kitty A nurses with love.
I have only great things to say for this wonderful facility. We are truly blessed to have Kitty Askins Hospice Center in this area. The staff is so kind and gentle which means so much when you are facing the last days with a loved one. I pray no one will have to go there as a patient but you will be cared for in ways that home setting might not provide. The family is treated with the same respect as the patient and at times I felt like they were there to take care of me. Heartfelt thanks to all of you.
