They do this thing called terminal dehydration.They let you dehydrate to hasten your death... Many of these places are now getting sued for that... yet still many get away with it cause most people don’t know what it means or they don’t ask or they do not care... They did this to my grandma Virginia Gorham. She had some mini strokes but was still very much alive and well. She never got IV fluid, and they stopped giving her water, food and just filled her up with morphine to ease the pain that comes with dehydration. She didn... read more
My Mom was there around 2 months ago before her passing. They were so caring and passionate. I know they cared. We had Tracey and Gail and others that were excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.
My dad passed at kitty Akins with dignity. Great compassionate staff.
Thank you to all the precious nurses. and staff of Kitty Askins Hospice Center!! I lost the most precious mama anyone could ever ask for. There are not enough words to express mine and my families gratitude and appreciation for this facility and the truly AMAZING staff here. It’s a Godsend for my grandmother to be here in her last days surrounded by family and such loving nurses.
Kitty Askins'' name lives, and that's wonderful! She was a very nice person, and a great nurse! I knew her from church, and my parents.
