Was on vacation and had my little dog with us and they wouldn't let him in and it was to hot to leave in the car. So I stayed with my dog in the car while running. My lady got to shop but not me. Very disappointed in you guys I was told you all were a very good place to shop. Well not animal friendly at all.

David - Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in the store due to Maine State law however we do have free dog kennels for those who wish to use them.

I'd heard about this place for years, from my young sporting years in Ohio, from friends and business associates in Alabama, then from work peers in SC. I FINALLY had the opportunity to stop and shop and enjoy the experience that is Kittery Trading Post! This was a very cool store with a lot of the outdoor world's best brands and gear. And the staff were very nice and knowledgeable. This is a "must stop" destination if you are in the Portsmouth, NH area or heading up into Maine.

I have been going to the trading post every year that I have been going up to maine to visit my family up there and that has been 36 years and I couldn't not imagine ever going up without a visit !! This store is part of my childhood and just want to thank the people at Kittery for always being there and highly encourage everyone who goes by to stop in and visit you will not be disappointed !!!
Saw the sign outside for Sperry sale. Went to men's shoes and the two employees were too busy talking with one another to help. One looked up and went on chatting. Went to customer service on our way out. One man didn't even acknowledge us and the other didn't say hi until we said it to him twice. He "mumbled" he would mention our complaint. So disappointed in lack of service and lack of friendliness. Didn't buy anything. Have been shopping here for years. Definitely not the same.
My family has been visiting Kittery Trading Post for at least five generations. When my son was little, he would ask to go to "Kitty Tree", a rare treat since we live almost three hours away in northern NH. He just turned 14 and used his birthday money to purchase a compound bow from you. Craig, the salesperson who helped him, could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
