We typically love this place. Great happy hour. However, it’s amazing to me on Pride weekend that they CANT staff the restaurant. Pride comes once a year - it does not sneak up. On top of lack of staff, those working throw attitude as if it’s the customers fault they are understaffed and we should be lucky that we were chosen for a table. They clearly are not concerned with service or actually capitalizing on the extra business.
The food was quite good; however, the service and server, not so much. He, I will not mention his name, had a poor attitude. It was as if he doesn’t like his job. He was not particularly friendly nor attentive. It was very impersonal and perfunctory. At one point, we had to ask someone else to take our coffee order as he had not been at our table for a while and was not in site. Nonetheless, I will probably go back but definitely not allow him to wait on us again!
RecommendedI love everything I have tried but my favorite is the TBA (turkey, brie, avocado) sandwich. In addition, I LOVE the potato chips which are made there and coated with Old Bay seasoning. And then there are the cupcakes...OMG, so delicious. Whenever I have friends visiting, I bring them there. Full disclosure: My son is one of the bartenders in Hollywood but my comments would be the same if he wasn't there.
Love this place. The food is fantastic. And Olivia, is my favourite bartender!
