While I have no major issues with Dr. Kirtane overall, I do have some issues with the response from his staff. When calling the office , for days no-one would answer the phones, I have left messages and still no one responds. Today I called 3 times to request an URGENT refill of my asthma medication and could not speak to anyone as it said that I was calling outside of office hours ... I called at 10am, 1pm and 3:30pm . Same message each time. I have not been able to get my medication refilled.
I really thought he cared about my care, but obviously I was wrong. He ordered a CTscan to be done on my lungs because of an anomaly that showed up my my last scan. However, I had to follow up on those results because didn't and now more than a week and a half I still can not find the test results. His office staff is a joke and completely uncaring about his patients. I have asthma and have breathing, I need a doctor who gives a damn!
I like Dr Kirtane, but it is his staff that I have a problem with. Had a pulmonary test 10 days ago. Christina left a voice mail the next day after the test. I have called her twice and left voice mails and stopped into the office once. Still no follow up with my test results. I beginning to have concerns about Dr Kirtanes staff. My health is imprtant to me and I cannot accept this treatment. If this e-mail does not get me my test results then I have to notify my insurance company .
Dr. Kirtane never reviewed records before our visit or remembered us or our history, never reviewed hospital records when we went in for hospital follow up visits. He was short tempered and always rushed through the appointment even after we waited an hour each time in the waiting room. And always tried to get us to schedule a follow up visit for no reason before leaving the office.
