The snow is always awesome and well groomed! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The NYE fireworks this year were the best I have seen in 10 years.

Big powder day on Christmas Eve but not a big crowd. I was expecting the big FOMO aggro shredder crowd but I found the scene more a community with a feeling that there is plenty for everyone. I had a ski pop off and disappear in wagon wheel bowl and a pretty expert snowboarder stopped and fished it out up the steep and deep hill from me. How gracious! Kirkwood is awesome and has been my main go-to resort as it tends to be less crowded. The staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. My boys are beginner snowboarders. They had lessons and a blast learning. Their instructor John made quite a positive impression on them. I'm an Epic Pass holder, so I'll definitely be back and dragging my boys along.
We're very lucky to have more than a few great resorts. Kirkwood is definitely one of the greaterest👍 I'll do my best to ski each one and rank them using my freshly calibrated sphinctometer😉 So many runs...so little time🤓
