I love the school, but the recent decision of not accepting Medicaid will affect thousands of BYU Idaho students. it is heartbreaking and frustrating
BYU Idaho is a great community that I love. I just wish the administration would be less political and listen to the voice of the students. They have time and time again made certain decisions in order to keep their ultra-conservative image in the community and ignored the voice of the students. Makes me very sad because I love the school. Wonderful place, but until these things are changed I can't really recommend it in good conscience.

A great place to learn, grow and develop relationships, talents, skills. There is a unique spirit that accompanies each student as they try their best to succeed. I know of no other place that compares to BYU Idaho for a great education in academic studies and a thorough preparation for life.
While the restrictive medicaid policy was in place at BYUI, we did not reccomend BYUI. However, after administration listened to our personal fears and concerns about the new policy (along with many others) they humbly retracted their policy. It is nice to know that we go to a school where the administration will listen to us when we need them to. We reccomend BYUI!
Your decision to stop accepting Medicaid is very unfortunate and prejudicial to underprivileged students.
