Dr McCullough recently repaired my torn Achilles’ tendon and I can only compliment him on his success not only in his surgical skills but his very professional assessment of my injury and his time spent discussing options available to me. While my age (80) concerned him initially my active life style helped convince him that surgery would be my best option. Today at 3 1/2 months since surgery he declared my Achilles’ tendon healed.
Super Nice, Genuinely Kind/Caring and doesnt try to rush you out in a nanosecond. Also good Dr. I have a sports injury where I had 2 surgeries to my knee prior to meeting Dr. McCullough. The meniscus is gone so much that it is now bone on bone contact. Dr. McCullough has worked with me through brace for sports/walking, injections for fluid between bones and foot prosthetics to allow me to delay surgery so that I can continue to be a Home Inspector able to crawl under homes.
I have come to Dr. McCullough for two injuries this year, one a break requiring surgery and one a sprain. The office called me back immediately on this last injury and were able to squeeze me in that day. Dr. McCullough has an excellent bedside manner and takes time to answer all my questions.
He himself as a doctor is great. The care you I’m receiving is great but I’m a teacher and when I’m in school I can’t take off much. I’ve tried using the message through portal and phone to see if I can get advice to hold me through til my appointment but I am left wondering because I never get an answer so the pain gets worse instead of better. :( :(
The only reason I’m not giving him 5 stars is because when I call the office no one ever returns my calls. It’s not because of him he’s one of the best if not the best around. But I just wonder why I don’t get a call back ever
Business response:
While I am grateful for your kind words as to the care you felt I provided, I am without question concerned as to the apparent dysfunctional experience you had with our phone/message service and would appreciate the chance to help troubleshoot/fix the problem you experienced. If you could please call my practice manager, Mary Zeeff, at 913-319-7546 we would appreciate the chance to help figure out the details of what has occurred so we can remedy the situation so it won't happen again.
I was recommended to go see Dr. McCullough about my Achilles, I am an active 62 year old and wanted to continue being active. I had several visits with Dr. McCullough before deciding on surgery. When I finally decided to have surgery, Dr. McCullough discussed the surgical procedure and the recovery process very thoroughly. Very pleased with the out come of my Achilles surgery. I highly recommend him.
My experience with Dr. McCullough has made my foot surgery and recovery go very smoothly. I am from Iowa State and after I finished wrapping up my senior football season, my head athletic trainer referred me down to Kansas City to meet with Dr. McCullough to check out my foot, because I had a lot of interest from NFL teams and he was also a well trusted doctor with foot injuries. Ever since surgery, Dr. McCullough has been with me every step of the way, such as text, calls, and even FaceTime.
Don’t know if my last rating didn’t show. I’m a swimmer and just won 5 medals at state thanks to his help when other people just wanted to say nothing was wrong he has worked hard to figure out and come up with a treatment plan- I owe all my medals this week to him!!
Dr. McCullough helped me a lot with two complicated surgeries. He has done a great job at explaining the situation to me, and at being available to me during the whole process of recovery. Being a college athlete, these surgeries were crucial to me, and I’m grateful Dr. McCullough was the one in charge. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know!
Business response:
Appreciate you entrusting me with your care. Excited about your return to the field!
