Its been a year that I had 4 surgeries on the same foot. I was told that i need an "ankle replacement." Dr. Cryar saidl I needed corrective surgery first, he was the only ne making that suggestion. i was scared i wouldnt be able to walk again. i fracture my lt.hip same side. its been a lot of work. My main issue is Balance that I am still working on, I am 71, & so Thankful to Dr. Cryar for a job well done. i only suggest the Tech doesn't addfor much plaster on the cast, it's impossible to lift it. Dr. Cryar performed my surgery, and I believe my actual surgery went well, at least of my knowledge.. Dr. Cryar seems to be a very good surgeon. But I feel like the lack of knowledge during aftercare had a very negative impact on my ability to have my ankle make a full recovery in range of motion and strength. I went to see him monthly and 80% of the time I was talking to only his NP, including first visit and last visit. A week post opp and this Dr has been phenomenal with everything! And he did a great job had X-rays done and everything is in place and healing! I see him tomorrow for a cast replacement but very pleased with him please if you are looking for a great Dr this place is amazing I also had my surgery at the women’s hospital which was very nice and quite!
