I gave a hold fee of $99 for an apartment. I was told by two employees on two different occasions I would receive the hold fee back if I decided not to move in. A few weeks later I informed them I needed to move my move in date. I was told no problem, the hold fee would go towards the “new” apartment. I ended up not being able to move in (thank goodness!) and although, I gave them 2 months notice that I would need to cancel my application, they refuse to return my $99. I have been told they retain the $99 for “damages”, basi... read more
Business response:
Hello Rachel, When you place a holding fee on an apartment, it takes that apartment off the market and no one else is able to rent that apartment. You applied on August 19th and you informed us of your cancellation on October 8th. You were scheduled to move in on October 11th. Unfortunately, at that point, we were not able to refund your holding fee of $99.00. We sincerely apologize for any miscommunication or inconvenience this may have caused. If you would like to further discuss this matter please feel free to call me at ... read more
I moved into one of the newly renovated 'pet friendly' units, very satisfied. I have only had a few generic maintenance issues which were tended to within 24 hours. The grounds are well maintained, yes, parking is limited but this is a relatively small complex, so to be expected. Reading through the reviews, I believe the primarily negative ones were a few years ago and perhaps there have been some changes. Everyone in the office is extremely friendly and courteous.
My AC unit began to leak and soak my carpet. I called emergency maintenance and they arrived within 20-30 min and have been here working hard for nearly two hours to get the job completely done without cutting corners. Beyond grateful for their hard work. I’ve only been here a month but so far I love it. No complaints. Anytime I’ve needed something they’ve been very responsive.
First year everything was good (besides parking) so we decided to sign another year lease in February. In March some kind of animal got in the attic and the wall and has been in there for 3 weeks now. It wakes us up every morning around 6am very loudly banging around and scratching at the walls. I have talked to front office and sent several service request. I am not comfortable sleeping in my own apartment this is not ok.
Lived here for about a year and a half and all i can say is DO NOT get an apartment here. The maintenance is pathetic, i have had RATS in my attic for over 3 weeks now and they REFUSE to call someone besides their 90 year old maintenance guy who is obviously not not solving the problem! I cant sleep they are so loud and i have multiple videos to confirm it. Half the time my parking spot is taken, every single step i take the floors squeak extremely loud (i know the person below me must hate it) i tried to get them to fix it ... read more
