Clean, Friendly and Great atmosphere. Love the Seafood and servers are extremely nice!
Family of 4 arrived at 5:00 and was seated immediately outside on the deck. We waited 20 minutes and never once had someone come by ask us for our drink order. My daughters kept asking for a drink which we thought our waitress would soon come out but never showed. We went inside and told a manager we had been waiting 20 minutes and all she says is I will tell my staff. We walked out and left. How can a business treat their customers in that manner. I was there last night, was very, very pleased with Doug Pinson and Route 23, but extremely disappointed in the service from your waitress. The gal waiting the tables had to be waved down to get any kind of service at all. Had to flag her down to get a refill on our drinks, then never seen hide nor hair out of her again until it was time to leave. Had to get food from inside the restaurant because she never stopped by to get our order. Needless to say there was not a tip left either. It would be different if it was very busy... read more
Very displeased with the service. Waitress acted like she did not like being at work. Food was cold and it was very distasteful. I will not come back to this establishment. Managers/waiters and waitresses were only concerned for a party.
Atmosphere and view are great! Service was terrible. Food came out wrong, was not seasoned, some was cold, and we never did get some of the food we ordered. #stillwaitingonthecorn
Best view of the river & city skyline, new menu downstairs caters to those who aren't savvy to the standard seafood that Kingfish normally offers, which is refreshing. Gourmet burgers..We've tried three of them so far and we're impressed. Seating ranges from covered to uncovered, and there's plenty of good places. They've been hosting both full-on bands and acoustic acts of all genres for some time, which is nice. Definitely a good place to hang out and enjoy some river time.
Shout out to all the good folks at Kingfish On The Rocks. The Decades are looking forward to our first appearance there on Friday Oct. 9. It's going to be a great night of music and fun with Louisville's premier party band! Come on out October 9th and join the party!
Kingfish contracted with friends of mine for entertainment. Then they tried to get them to perform for less money. When they wouldn't, Kingfish cxld them at the last minute and hired someone else for less money. Bad business. I am done with Kingfish. And they need a new booking agent before anyone could ever consider them a legit venue.
My favorite outdoor venue to play! Beautiful setting and great friends and great food!
