Dr. King and his staff are very friendly and "normal." I've had another dentist who wanted to send you me to his friend because the saw a freckle on my lip. When I told him I have someone to go to he got snooty. I've been to other dentists who told me it's the law that I have to have a mouthful of ex-rays. I AM IMPRESSED WITH DR.KING'S office and not impressed by other rip off dentists in the Austin area.
Dr. King is a very gentle and conservative dentist. He will not recommend treatment that isn't necessary. His office is centrally located and his staff is very friendly.
He's one of the best I've been to. Real nice, good work, and doesn't try to push any unnecessary stuff on you. Some of the dental hygenists are pretty good too.
When called on a Tuesday morning for a toothache, Dr. Richard King examined me the same day, fully explained the factors which would decide whether or not a root canal might be required, and scheduled a crown preparation which was done the next morning. The day following the procedure, he called me twice for a progress report, then gave me his home phone number in case I needed to reach him during the weekend. Dr King has been my dentist since 1990 and now works with my family as a whole. My wife and daughters are as comfortable with him as I am.
My husband has seen Dr. King for over 15 years, me about 5 years...very fair, pleasant, knowledgeable and always going the extra mile with service. Gwen does an amazing cleaning and is very pleasant too. Highly Recommended.

Dr. King's office is very pleasant. I am a very fearful patient and I cannot remember ever being put more at ease. My treatments were not at all painful and they made me feel really proud of my teeth. They are the best!
