This is a wonderful place. Everyone is so sweet and on top of things. It's the best place I've been to and I've been to a few. I couldn't walk when I got here. They have helped me so much here that I am walking and I did six stairs yesterday! Everyone has been kind to my mom who is by my side. They do everything to manage my pain. My wound is healing quickly. The nurse Alora has been just exceptional. Even when she is not my nurse, she comes to check on me. All of the nurses go out of their way to help me feel comfortable. I experienced Kindred hospital as being a very supportive, loving, family-oriented hospital. From he housekeeper on up, you're made to feel loved and cared about. When I was admitted, my sister was with me. When she left, I felt alone. Then, as the nurses and other staff came to see me, I felt welcomed. As the days went by, I began to learn the nurses and other staff loved their jobs. I could see that the staff at Kindred are a family. They stick together through hard times. Kindred is a place where they treat you like home, they treat you like family. When I first arrived, I felt very welcomed. I have been well taken care of. The staff is very good, they treat you well, they go above and beyond. The call light response is better than other hospitals. It’s easy to make friends. It’s going to be hard to say goodbye. I will be coming back as a visitor to bring the staff pizza and say hi to everyone. I’d like to thank everyone for the good care they have given me.

Care overall was excellent. The only thing I wish was different was dialysis. The dialysis care was really good but it would be better if it could be done in my room instead of the dialysis room because I love my room. Melanie the woundcare specialist....I love her so much. Derek and Linda and Sherita in physical therapy are just wonderful. I've got bad wounds and the nurses and aids treat me with dignity and I appreciate that. Kindred is the place you want to go when you have to recover from your surgeries or something else. They are kind and helpful. This is my third time here. I came for wound care from an operation. They have a great wound care nurse, Melanie. She is on top of things. She even helped me with my toes! I am diabetic and I'm not supposed to trim my nails by myself. She got right on it and did a great job. The therapy staff are all great! They will work with you on anything you need to work on if it's standing, walking, or sitting ... read more

They did there best to help me and get me better. Which inspired me to do my best. They are kind and caring. And if it wasn't for them I wouldn't be here and doing as good as I am. Kevin my nurse supervisor done a great job in knowing what to do to get me where I'm at. Now I can say I'm well enough to go home. I can't thank the staff of kindred hospital St.louis enough for all your care and support in getting me better.
