95 % of the nurses were outstanding-best we have ever had. The doctor on staff, called the primary care doctor, had horrible communication skills with the family. He would say one thing and do another. They move patients around without warning and then can't understand why they get upset and angry. KINDRED HOSPITAL CENTRAL ADMINISTRATION IS NOT INTERESTED IN THEIR PATIENTS WELL BEING. My dad was there and it was so bad I couldn't get him out of there fast enough. It was ok while he was in icu, but when they stepped him down, he got absolutely no assistance all!
*** GO TO KINDRED, Meadow *** The service & care received @ Kindred Meadow was INCREDIBLE! my father had spent much time prior to Kindred at a medical center in McKinney TX, with very poor results. The efficiency that Dana Jamieson showed in getting my father processed, the level of acumen of the nurses and care staff was fantastic. My father was also personally greeted and given assurance by the Hospital CEO James Mendez (more than once), and most importantly the dialogue with Doctors was both frequent and well informed. I stayed several times there. 51/2 Months after my Heart Transplant @ Baylor Dallas. The staff were Great. The Dr's , Nurses,Aides & Rehab staff. Shouts goes out to Meadow & John Michel. I would Highly Recommend to anybody....
My grandmother was here for months until she finally passed June 30th of this year.. I really appreciate everything the nurses did. This woman raised me for most of my life. And she was a wonderful person. The nurses and doctors at kindred helped her for so long. It wasn't easy but they did there job and I am thankful for that. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors! Great place for care for you or your loved ones.
