I only selected one star because I have to, but I would prefer for it to be a negative star. My husband has been a patient of Kindred numerous times. Each time he is in this particular one, it is the worst experience ever. He is a T4 paraplegic, meaning he needs special equipment and extra help to be able to do just about anything. In particular, he needs special equipment to be able to use the restroom and shower. Good place to be and I do recommend. The Hospital has all up to date equipment, the stall are professional in their field, and they make you feel comfortable
I have been admitted to this is that any person that walks into my room helps me, regardless if they were assigned to my room. One particular evening I suddenly began to choke on my own saliva and by the Grace of God there was nurse right outside of my room that heard me and immediately came to my side and helped. She called for assistance and those two individuals literally saved my life... unfortunately, I do not know their names, but I can definitely recognize them if I were to see them again. As a 23 year old with a chronic illness, I am in the hospital quite often (im usually in the hospital every month). I was here for quite awhile and always have a great experience here. This is my second time being here and they met my needs and always had a great attitude (minus a lazy CNA or two that never came to help me change my bed linens so I ended up having to do it by myself). But overall very wonderful! If I have to come back in the future I know I'll be well taken care of! Thank you Kindred!
