They totally took care of me and though my stay was short, it was great staff and very nice and clean
After 20 plus days at Kindred Hospital Bay Area, my husband has made significant progress! I wasn't really sure what to expect when being admitted but the Case Manager, Maria Cordova, eased my anxiety and assisted us from day one. She has a lot of patience with us and always goes out of her way to answer any questions that we have. If she doesn't know the answer to any questions she makes sure to go out and investigate and get me the information. We were there for two hours and no one ever came in to check on my Aunt. When I asked the nurses station upon leaving I was told her nurse would be there shortly . I waited another 30 minutes and still no one ever came . I was not impressed and I did not get a good feeling about the ICU unit where I thought meant to be monitored with A plus service. My Aunt received better care when she was at The Pearland Hospital . Senseless and Unimpressed with Kindred Hospital Bay Area. I hope things are better when I visit again soon !
Prior to admitting I didn't know what to expect, but once we arrived everything has surpassed our expectations. A few employees that have gone above and beyond for my husband and I have been: Glezel, Mayola, Penny, Rubi, Esperanza, Quinn, Caroline, and Sonia!! Each of these employees have been kind, helpful, attentive and hard workers - especially Rubi, my goodness from the moment she walks into our room she showers us with compassionate care. If I could give this hospital more stars I would, everything has been excellent here.!! My wife was admitted into the icu because of a severed artery where she lost 5 pints of blood which caused her heart to stop.. she was revived and transported from another hospital to Kindred - and from her near death experience she is making a full recovery and is expected to be home within the next few weeks. I had heard about Kindred Healthcare prior to being transferred and after some internet research we knew this was the right place... read more
If you have a loved one don't take them here, ever.
Anytime you are in an ICU Unit states you need special care. My brother has been here going on 4 weeks. The staff and doctors have been wonderful to me and more so to my brother. I know he is being career for and God is guiding their hands to care for him. God is so good. I've put it God's hands and pray he will bring my brother thru. To God be the Glory.
