The nurses, doctors, and physical therapy staff are all wonderful! First impression was not the best. It is old building and appears not clean. However, the place is kept very clean and all the staff are helpful, intelligent, kind and sweet! This is why you should not judge a book by its cover.
It's a great place to work and feels like family.

Revision... A few visits later, new nurses had no compassion. Seemed like another job to them. Some didn't follow medications. You can give pain medication then immediately change the wound dressing. Instructions were administer pain meds 30 MINUTES prior to dressing change. One gave my mom wrong medication. Thank goodness no allergic reactions. My mother had to stay at Kindred after having a stroke. She needed a step-down hospital before going to a rehab facility. She was there for about a month. While the building is not brand new, we realized quickly that the building itself doesn't matter. It's the people that work in it that matter. The nurse managers were always willing to answer any questions that we had and never acted like we were bothering them. The nurses acted like they truly cared about their patients.
