Specialties We are the full service bonsai and landscape nursery in the Los Angeles area. We are the source for everything bonsai or Japanese garden related. History Established in 1975. Started in 1975 and sold to current owner in 1996. Since then it has become one of California's premier bonsai nurseries. Offering classes and workshops for the last 15 years. Starting in 1997 we also started offering complete landscape design and construction services.

I met Bob Pressler at least 15 years ago. I took a number of classes at his nursery. he has always been personable and enthusiastic. He has a passion for the Bonsai art form. Any beginner wanting to learn about Bonsai would do well to start off at his nursery and with his classes.
A full service bonsai nursery. Great selection. Trees from $10 on up to the price of a used car. Knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff... but the best thing about visiting Kimura Bonsai Nursery is, without a doubt, talking to the owner. Amazing pre-bonsai material for very affordable prices.
When I walk through the gates of the nursery something comes over me...excitement. Bob is very knowledgeable and willing to teach the art of Bonsai. Awesome place!!
