I went for an initial visit, I waited longer than is normal. The Dr. did not like my explaining about that and tried to shout me down. I asked him a question about my situation and he didn't have an answer that should have been well known to him! His office was disorganized and made mistakes.
I have been a patient of Dr Kim for four years. I was seeing him because my PSA was high and I was having issues with urination. Every time I went to see him I was asked to pee so they can test my flow rate and see if I'm stopping and starting. i told him on almost every visit that my family members tend to have high psa. He's very quick to order a biopsy. Please check with another urologist. You have options before they start snipping you...
Stay away from this doctor! Mostly uninterested in my medical history, ignored all the information I gave him. Came to office with detailed ultrasound report, but performed another ultrasound himself at an extra cost for me (which I did not agree to do beforehand). It was an incredibly hasty ultrasound; he did not even tell me anything about what he saw nor ever wrote a report (but I still had to pay for it). Prescribed me an unnecessary CT-scan that I will simply refuse to do.
