I’ve been going here since I was 7 I am 17 now and every time we are here they bill us for some fee they make up but that fine I understand it was always check ups. Today I actually needed to go to the doctor because I was having trouble breathing and have a really bad cough. I went in today and the front lady was talking about how I have a $650 bill to pay for vaccinations I took and wouldn’t let me go see the doctor. As many of the other negative reviews have stated there are issues here with Dr. Minuskins bedside manner. Don't bother asking questions about vaccines unless you want to be sneered at in front of a room full of students. I asked which vaccines did he feel were priority since I wasn't sure about any of then to begin with but was open to maybe spacing them out instead of doing 4 of them at once for my 2 month old. Please don’t take your children here. Our first (and last) appointment was beyond horrible. The Dr treated our 1 week old like a rag doll being extremely rough with her. She’s not one to really cry, maybe fuss and for a second, but he made her fully cry and scream the whole time by his roughness. I also felt judged and dismissed the whole time. This place has really gone downhill. I don’t recommend. Front desk is always changing and very rude.
Bedside manner SUCKED! Students were in the room and no one asked if my husband and I were comfortable with it. Dr Minuskin was very aggressive in examining my daughter’s genitals, said we were not cleaning her properly and proceeded to not tell us how to do so. Interrogated us as to why we did not go to him for her one month baby wellness. Front desk was also extremely loud about other people’s information, not discreet at all.
