NO LONGER Kiddie Kuts is a Family Tradition Mrs. Stevens and the rest of the staff were very nice and personable with me and my 2yr old granddaughter. No, I wasn't crazy about the curtain but I was made to feel at ease! We will definitely be returning again & again! I have other relatives, who bring their children here as well! weekend styles I would first say that I do like the service that my child receive when she do go,,but I believe that the shop should be able to certain styles (box braids) on the weekend and not just the week day when the kids are in school.
Very disspointed with Kiddy Kuts I called Kiddy Kuts two weeks ago. They did not. Respond back to the message I left. Called back on 01/14/2011 to plan a party for my daughter the lady name Erica was suppose to email me the party package, well am still waiting
FIRST TIME CUSTOMERS NOT APPRECIATED I visited the Calumet City location and had a terrible experience. My husband and I brought our son in for a hair cut. The receptionist stated that we had two heads in front of us. We waited for an hour and watched the two children who were ahead of our son leave. Right when the second child was finished a repeat customer came in and she was whisked in front of our son by the receptionist. Of course, we left and took our business elsewhere. Kiddie Kutz Dunwoody I take my child to get her hair done on a bi-weekly basis at the Kiddie Kutz in Dunwoody (Atlanta, Georgia). Their customer service is outstanding and their quality of work is superb. My daughter always leaves with a smile which makes me extremely happy.
Terrible Case of Tinea Capitis Be extremely careful with Kiddie Kuts! I had to stop taking my daughter because she developed ringworm and hair loss twice. she was getting her hair french braided. When I brought it to the manager, Donna's attention, she claimed that they disinfect all hair tools after each use. I find that hard to believe! She also accused me of doing something to my daughter's hair at home. What in the hell is required to maintained french braids on a daily basis? Just oil the scalp! Calumet City location lacks professionalism Customer Service in Calumet City leaves a lot to be desired. Could careless about pleasing their customers. Braiders complain and use foul language around the children. Great concept but lack professionalism!!! Very expensive, they charge for every little thing.
Professional, quick and kid-friendly This salon is one of the best I have ever been to in my life. I took my daughter and niece in on Thursday for the very first time and the staff was very friendly and corteous. The place was clean, kid-friendly and everyone was pleasent. I couldn't believe how fast and accurate in the styling process. I dropped the girls off at 2 and they were ready for pick up at 430. Two and a half hours for shampoo, condition, blow dry and braids was excellent timing.
Terrible Service Please keep in mind that we drove 25 miles to this salon and told this to the receptionist and stylist. I give Kiddie Kuts Salon a 0 out of 5. I called in advance and made an appointment and when I got there they told me they could not do my son's hair because he was crying and they were too busy. I told them over the phone he was only 2-years-old and that this was his first hair cut. I was not informed that we could not be with him while he got his hair cut.
