This longtime Baltimore favorite is something of an anomaly; in a city where crab cakes are king, its signature seafood dish is shrimp salad. On closer examination, it's easy to see why. The shrimp are big, perfectly steamed, and dressed in a savory sauce. And the portions are huge. The rest of the hearty American fare (like a great Prime Rib) is also very nice. The restaurant has a casual, homey feel, with comfortable booths, dark paneling and a very friendly staff.

I used this venue for a party in their karaoke lounge and it was great the staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating. My host really enjoyed himself. The food was great and timely. I will definitely go there again, and this time as a customer and not a event coordinator.

The best Shrimp Salad in Baltimore. Old school cooking are pleasant service.

Sitting in the dinning room with family after a funeral and have had a terrible experience. I have been coming here for years and am so disappointed. First my fathers cream of crab had lumps of flour the size of half dollars. When my mother started to eat her shrimp salad sandwich (which was over cooked) an moth flew out of it. My sister in laws crab cake has an ammonia smell and musty taste. Not sure if we will be back to eat here. The only reason for the one star is for our waitress she was very apologetic.
