A safety recall (NHTSA recall number ******) was issued in March, 2021 for my 2020 Kia Sportage. The recall advised there was "a defect that could result in a fire occurring in the vehicle's engine compartment". Today is October 12, 2021. The Kia Store East, on New LaGrange Road, where the vehicle was purchased new by me, has not been willing to perform the SIMPLE rework. This dealership sold me a vehicle Plagued with recalls and customer complaints. It has been from moment of purchase experiencing excessive oil consumption using as much as 5 quarts of oil between oil changes. The dealership and manufacture were well aware They of the many problems of this year and model and sold it anyway with disclosing the hundreds of complaints and it current engine defect! We get there and they were so nice to help us. Start telling them what we want get a car picked out they tell us one price then 20 minutes later the price goes up almost 100 dollars. We leave with the car that night with them telling us we have to come back the next day to finish paper work... Which that we do! Have the car for a week and Hana Lulu calls saying that we have to bring the car back! When I ask why she gets attitude with me and starts saying all inaccurate statements which I'm very unsure as to why she's the one... read more

Promised a certain price for a car, then when I went to pick up the vehicle the price went up over $150 monthly. Go here only if you want to get your hopes up and then be let down.
Our KIA Sorento lost a fuel pump about 20 miles outside Louisville and the KIA Store East was the closest dealer. The roll back took our car there and the entire staff from General Manager, to Shuttle Driver were more than helpful and courteous. They did everything they could to get us back on the road to NC which included removing a fuel pump from a new vehicle and ordering an additional part that was overnighted to the dealership.
