I do not think he as ever dealt with any one with sever child hood trauma. He was very critical and very rude during my appointment.
I constantly run into problems scheduling appointments. I have to take my medication sporadically because I never know if I am going to be able to get another appointment. They are only allowed to schedule for one day each time you call if you can't make that day then you have to call the next day and wait 10-20 mins to see if anything is available again. It is so frustrating. If you have a job or other responsibilities they will not work around your schedule.
As an existing patient, I was quite surprised that as I was running out of my meds, I was unable to get in with the doctor to renew my maintenance meds. There was nobody else in the office able to write an rx. Then I showed up for my appointment and the doctor and NP were off. In total, the doctor left me without my maintenance meds for 8 days. I went thru withdrawal and was unable to function. I look forward to discussing his office practices at my appointment.
Dr Khalid really listens and cares about his patients. He is very smart and remembers things. His medication recommendations are good.
