Asked for quote initially. Was told the person coming out would explain the costs based off the distance and door type. He called and I immediately asked for an estimate for the type of door, he told me there are lots of factors, and asked if I had any quotes from other companies. I told him Im in the process of calling around to see but was requesting a quote, he asked how much I think it should cost. I said im not sure $40? And he said no, not do-able. Please be careful with these companies, they take advantage of your situation. They don’t give an upfront estimate on how it’s going to cost then they rip you off at the end. The locksmith they sent to unlock my house initially said $30 to be dispatched then $39 to unlock the door.. took him 5 minutes to unlock the door then said it’s $280 total. Please don’t be scammed… negotiate your price before having them send a locksmith, or negotiate with the locksmith before agreeing. I suggest record the conversation on your phone o... read more
