I went to go see Dr. Metzger for an injection, sports medicine related appointment referred by my physical therapist, who is also a GOAT. I'm not sure where those negative reviews came from, but I can tell you I had a fantastic visit! From start to finish. The staff at the front was fantastic, and Dr. Metzger is now on my list of GOAT. Kevin Metzger is an outstanding human that truly cares about his patients, loving having him as a primary care provider!
I tried to renew my iron supplement prescription today and HMG (Metzger) refused to refill without me scheduling an in-office visit and exam. I told his nurse I tried to give blood last week and my iron count was too low. It's a supplement. Yes, I know I can get over the counter, but just frustrating that I need an appointment for a supplement refill.
I don't recommend Kevin Metzger. Went twice, Metzger never looked at my throat, listened to my breathing or coughing nor did he check reflexes or feel tummy area, nothing. Finally after telling him of ear issues both visits, I had to ASK HIM to look in my ear on 2nd visit. ***How do you know how to help your patients if you don't do any type of physicals, he didn't make the effort and this is sad, we go to Doctors for upkeep & help. Wonderful doctor. He doesn’t rush it he appointment and he makes sure all my questions are answered. Would highly recommend him! Had my appointment on July 15th 2024
