This was a specialty establishing appointment. Dr.Jamison and his assistant were absolutely amazing. I was nervous coming to a new specialist(insurance changed after 10 years) but they were so personable yet professional. I'm glad they are now a part of my care team.
Very good.
My appointment was very quick even though I’ve waited several months to see him. He basically brushed me off, didn’t ask if I had any other questions or concerns. Waste of time and copay.
Dr. Jamison was incredibly dismissive and rude. Told me none of the history of my injury "made any sense" accused me of being a drug addict, and told me it was all in my head. He was incredibly out of hand and unproffessional
I was referred to Dr. Jamison and am grateful it was him. At 54 I have multiple symptoms that have stumped both me and my primary. After my first virtual consultation I was relieved. Dr. Jamison very patiently listened to my bunny trail of both physical and mental ailments and symptoms. I could tell he probably does not suffer fools well, but he was conscientious, patient and thoughtful as we discussed my history. He asked responding questions and really took ownership of trying to understand the heart of the matter. His dem... read more
Was not able to have a visit because Dr Jamison REFUSED the referral from my ENT doctor. My ENT was out of his depth with my symptoms and I continue to suffer while I am trying to find someone else to see me. For someone to DISMISS a patient before examining them tells you all you need to know. I’d give him Zero stars if I could.
Dr Jamison is warm, welcoming, professional, certainly knowledgeable and definatley unpretentious. My issue is complicated by an old accident, one unsucessful surgery and my age. I think some doctors would throw their hands up and say "live with it". I feel fortunate to have been refered to him.
I found him to be condescending, arrogant, and dismissive. I had read this before in other reviews, but just wanted to get in ASAP and he had an opening and was hoping the reviews were exaggerated. They were not. He ordered am MRI and never called with results (my PCP called that night). I waited a week and then called his office several times to get MRI results and discuss next steps and never called back. I would rate lower than one star if available.
I call this doctor abusive. He asked me why I was there, and as I explained he interrupted me to say the pain was all in my head. He drew me a picture on blank paper depicting a large circle with a dot in the middle and said, “your pain represents this little dot.” I ask him if he even read my file notes and he said, “I listened to you and I don’t need to read your file.” He was sarcastic and negligent. Later, I was diagnosed with a collagen disorder and spinal defects w/severe nerve pain.
Kevin J. Jamison, M.D. has a 4.6 star rating with 189 reviews.
