Really needs 0 stars but unfortunately not an option. DO NOT GO TO HIM AS A PATIENT. I was totally screwed over by Dr Coates as he not only abruptly discontinued my long term disability benefits leaving me with no income without saying another word. He also missed diagnosing CRPS which I began reporting symptoms of in 12/2021. The care I received here was terrible and I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. Dr Coates is in my experience the best surgeon I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. I am 5 years post ACL reconstruction along with a lateral meniscus repair, and my knee is better than I ever thought it would be. I have complete range of motion and 100% stability. He took all of my concerns into account and even went the extra mile with a couple things that I asked of him. Dr. Coates did an excellent job on my shoulder/ bicep repair surgery. He was professional yet easy to talk to. He genuinely seems to care!!
