I would not recommend this property to anyone based on my experience. What should have been a straightforward move-out turned into months of unnecessary frustration, and the way management handled it was unacceptable. The security deposit situation was the biggest headache. I will be completely fair: I made a mistake with my forwarding address, and I take responsibility for that. I've had a great experience living at Kettlestone Peak! The community is beautiful, the apartments are super updated and well maintained. The location is also very convenient for everything I need. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and quick to respond whenever I have a question. Maintenance has also been great and they take care of issues quickly! Overall I really love it here and would recommend it to anyone looking!!
First things first, just because I (or others) don’t use our full names in our reviews doesn’t mean you are allowed to dismiss them which you certainly like to act like you do when you respond to people. I've been here since March and I absolutely love it! Kettlestone Peak is under construction as it's a new build but I am excited to see the future amenities and the pricing is reasonable given it's Waukee. The ladies in the office are upfront about pricing, what to expect for the future as Kettlestone continues to progress and are quick with their response.
I can honestly say this has been the worst apartment experience I've ever had, and almost every neighbor I've talked to feels the exact same way. If you're considering living here, read your lease very carefully because once you're in, you're stuck. There is no lease buyout, no option to end your lease early, and no ability to upgrade units.
