Wife and I hit this place up after lunch at Cafe de Artiste. First the good - folks that work here are very nice. That was the best part. We didn't like the coffee nor the provided outdoor seating. It was like two dirty picnic tables and that was it. Coffee tasted similar to a Dutch Bros. style where you need to add a crazy number of flavors to drink it. Just wasnt our thing. We love independent coffee shops, and the people are probably the biggest reason. Would also be the biggest reason to go back.
I had a wonderful experience at Kettle on Main Street . Their cheese Danish and strawberry pastries are some of the best I've ever had - truly delightful. The coffee is smooth and satisfying, perfect for a relaxing break. The customer service exceeded my expectations; a very nice gentleman assisted me and made my visit even more enjoyable. Dillon is an absolute sandwich wizard — perfectly stacked, insanely flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with pride. Every bite hits. And then there’s Eric… top-tier service. Drove half an hour to the store to pick up a too good to go bag that I already paid for. Was told that they sold the bag to someone else. Just bad management. Could have cancelled the order so I wouldn’t have to waste an hour round trip.
I ordered coffee. Got the coffee. They have WiFi. A bathroom. Baristas seem relaxed and comforting. Familiar faces everyday. Might have to work here one day. Service can get slow but I know it’s not Starbucks. The business seems very home-grown. I will be making this shop my Main go-to 🤭
