If there was a "0" rating, that's what I would give. I DO NOT recommend Dr. Goswami. After reviewing my thyroid ultrasound, he said it "looked suspicious" and that I needed a needle biopsy. It took him 3 sticks and jiggling my neck to get, I will assume, a sufficient sample. He said during the procedure that the nodule was very small. My oncologist in FL had been watching this nodule since 2009 and never once felt a need to send me to an endocrinologist for a needle biopsy. Our mother was referred to Dr. Goswami after she had a lump on her throat. Initial consult with PA Khan went well and an ultrasound revealed a nodule. A fine needle biopsy was performed by Dr. Goswami in his office. This procedure left our mother traumatized. No introduction, no warning...just straight into a procedure with no empathy. Results should have take 5-7 days but 15 days later, Dr. Goswami called personally to say the results were inconclusive and enough cells were not sampled.
