I appreciated that the doctor was willing to try new treatments. I did not appreciate that addressing any questions and concerns was difficult because they charge by the minute. This kind of system reduced how much I was being informed about my care and created boundaries between me and the doctor, who would increase the price when I had questions or concerns during the appointment. For that reason only, I would not recommend it. Otherwise, the nurse and staff were friendly.
On March 22, 2024, I had a doctor's appointment, but no one attended to me after waiting for more than 12 minutes. I rescheduled my appointment and later found out that my deposit of $100 had been forfeited. When I asked for clarification, the owner, who is also the office manager and the doctor's spouse (Jimmy), refused to help and recounted his own experience of waiting for two hours during a doctor's appointment. Overbooked clinic and overpriced services. No waiting area and they shove products to you. She goes into multitude of problems that don’t exist and then charges for her time for things I didn’t even complain about. Staff unprofessional and rude. Seems like everyone out there is wanting more and more money.
Dr Buster is an Amazing angel, and answer to my prayer. I flew all the way from San Francisco for her services. I have the Morgan Freeman tags all over my face. I had gone to six different dermatologist in San Francisco and was told there was nothing they could could do and that any procedure I try would just leave permanent scarring. Where do I start... I went to her for an initial problem and in return she created a multitude of problems and on top of that she even got upset with me when I pointed it out! I would say if you have any issues with your skin prior to seeing her, steer completely clear of this office and her services. Her husband (the office manager) was very sweet although the nurses had attitudes. (One even told me what wasn’t my problem as if she’s the doctor). 6 week follow up appointment. Been waiting for this appointment. My son has eczema has been flaring up. Dr. Buster was out. We produced the appointment card. We were told it was rescheduled for SEPTEMBER! We were never informed of any change. The September appoint was a different appoint. Our son cannot sleep because of the itching and asked if another Doctor could see him. Told NO, we can put you on a cancellation list but September is the earliest we can see him. Dr. Buster is a good Doctor.
Dr. Buster is THE BEST!! I went in today and had two biopsies and the shots were relatively pain free!! She knows how to inject and keep the pain and stinging to a minimum. One was on my nose and I was very scared but her demeanor is so peaceful and calming it helped me relax and tolerate the shots. She is very knowledgeable. Very professional yet very warm and caring. I feel so fortunate to have found her.
I had been seeing another Dermatologist for several years and always asking them about a problem area. Always being told that it wasn't any problem. Dr. Buster immediately saw the spot without me saying anything. Turns out it was cancer. Had to have surgery right away removing part of my nose. I caught earlier it would not have been so bad. Dr. Buster is very thorough. I feel she saved my life if I didn't see her.
