We met with Dr Kerns because our doc was called into emergency surgery. We have our birth plan in place and my wife and baby are both healthy and doing well. When he first walked into the room he expressed concern that it was our due date and immediately started talking induction. Everything he said sounded negative, and he was very pushy toward getting something scheduled right away. He said very little positive, and was very fear based in his approach. Don't trust this doc, do your research.

I moved to Wausau in the middle of Pregnancy & needed a provider accepting new patients & my insurance. I was Recommended Dr. Kern's he was great listened to all my questions. I Google a lot and research questions, and he answered them all and put my mind at ease. I had two C-Sections prior to seeing Dr. Kern's and didn't want to attempt a VBAC he performed C-Sections for my now 18-month-old I was very happy I got pregnant again and requested him again as my provider for my now 6 month old.

Worst dr ever. Treated my wife like crap

After my son was born, Dr. Kerns immediately began trying to remove the placenta (the appropriate time to wait is at least 15-30 minutes to avoid a suction like effect). After two hours, a trip to the OR to attempt to manually remove the placenta, which included him placing his foot on my bed and pulling as hard as he could, he dislodged the placenta and collapsed my uterus. Thank God there was another OB doc there!

He took great care of me back in 2009. I needed a procedure done a few months after having my son. He was very professional, caring and had compassion. He treated me like a normal person, he didn't try to be little me using medical terminology that most people do not understand.
